Our Story
High school sweethearts, we met long ago. As teenagers, the two of us quickly became an item and dated on-and-off for years. We share many fond memories of this time, going on our first dates, having first kisses, and even experiencing our first loves.
While our high school romance eventually came to an end, we always remained in touch, checking-in with one another along the way. Life took us in separate directions for schooling, relationships, and travel. But it was these important experiences apart that shaped us into the people, and partners, we are today.
About two years ago life brought us back together. After reconnecting and getting to know each other better as adults, there was no denying that there was still a spark between us. So, we decided to take a chance and give it one more shot.
Since then, we haven't looked back! Our time together has been full of happiness, love, and laughter. We have spent time making new memories, getting to know each other's families, and moving our lives forward together.
Matt planned a romantic proposal last September in Wakefield, the chosen spot for our wedding now as well. When he popped the question, her answer was an overwhelming yes!
Over fifteen years after our journey first began, we couldn't be more ready to start the next chapter of our lives together in October 2021. We hope to have you all there on our special day!
